Antoine Herve Trio featuring François & Louis Moutin at the Duc des Lombards
This trio met again on september 23rd & 24th after years without playing together.
An opportunity for a new repertory : « Do You Know What It Mean, to Miss New-Orleans », « Seascape », «Learning the Blues », « Cry me a River », Bill Evans’ « Five » Keith Jarrett’s « My Song », Monk’s « Think of One », McCoy Tyner’s « Fly With the Wind », Joe Zawinul’s « Night Passage », an Oscar Peterson’s transcription of the Francy Boland’s « Sax No End », and even… Michael Jackson’s « I Just Can’t Stop Loving You », we really had a good time at the Duc des Lombards.
A lot of pleasure shared with the audience and the musicians for those no fronteries’ wedding between jazz and improvisation.
